Which browband will fit my rolled bridle?
First, you need to look at what type of neck strap is on your rolled bridle. It is this that is decisive for which browband will fit.
If you look at type 1, you can see that 3 straps must go through the "eye" on the browband, whereas on type 2, only 2 straps must go through the "eye". This is what determines which browband will fit your rolled bridle.
On type 1, you must choose a browband with an extra-large eye and there will often be a small leather loop on the browband, which must be between the cheek piece and the throat lash as in the picture. So a significantly larger "eye" is needed and typically most browbands will not fit. The browband must be specially made for a rolled bridle.
On type 2, virtually all of our browbands will fit. (Except if the browband, as we explain above, is specially made for a rolled bridle as in the picture type 1). All our browbands in the classic model and all with the new closure will fit the type 2 rolled bridle.
